Before you choose
Every route is graded Hard or Strenuous

Difficulty
Easiest
Rocky and rewarding — the shortest route to the summit, but not the easiest.
Past Llyn Llydaw causeway and copper-mine ruins before a steep final ascent.
Greatest elevation gain of any route. Loose scree upper section. Experienced walkers only.
The least-walked of the six routes. Exposed ridge near the summit requires a head for heights.
The historic guide's route from the 18th century. No exposed ridges — a solid choice for capable beginners.
